Totally agree the 5G has just recently took a massive nose dive.

Never before had issues and lately my phone is struggling to get a service.

A lot of people I know have had the exact same issues with EE as well.

and whenever it’s raised they always ask hmmmm have to you checked the coverage area?!?

ermmm have you checked the mast coverage because it seems a few have been turned off.

100% something they’re not wanting to admit to.

it’s like we’re constantly using 3G.
sooooooo slow. Everywhere. You’ve clearly sold a few masts and aren’t acknowledging it

If a phone is struggling to get service across multiple locations, it tends to suggest a device fault - network outages affect all users indiscriminately and tend to generate significant volumes of complaints.

Community fora of all MNOs have coverage complaints, it's a valid first check to ask whether the coverage & outage tools have been checked - many don't.

The 3G network was switched off at the end of January, but 2G, 4G & 5G continue to expand - 4G is now the base layer.
