I’ve had the same problem in my flat - 2 bars and 5G but internet doesn’t work and my call quality is terrible. The excuse about being indoors doesn’t really work when I have been in the same flat for 2 years and the signal quality has only been abysmal for the past couple of months. Clearly something has gone wrong but EE aren’t bothering to notify us or adjust our payments.

The on-screen bars are only a rough guide, but if you have 2 shown, then coverage levels are self evidently not the issue - and the indoor factor is indeed irrelevant.
Can you elaborate on what you mean by "call quality is terrible"?
Have you reported your recent service issues for further investigation?

I'm sorry to hear that you're having some signal problems. Do you have broadband at home? If so, it may help to set up WiFi Calling, which will help you keep connected, if your phone isn't picking up a strong mobile signal.
