New sim / contract

Hi I just got a new SIM card and new phone S25 Ultra.

 

i have signal bars, but i can't access data / send messages etc and is stuck in emergency call only.

what am I supposed to do?

  1. PAYG or pay monthly contract.
  2. Have you activated the SIM.
  3. Are you in the UK.
  4. Is your phone from EE or unlocked. 
  5. Is the SIM inserted correctly.

In addition, what was the reason for the new SIM?

Is this a brand new connection? A lost/stolen replacement? Or something else?

Your symptoms are consistent with not having a network connection.
