I have been with EE for many many years, and like you, over the last few months the signal in all areas I go has been very poor where it use to be very good.
At work we all use EE, and everyone is having the same issue with very bad signal, unable to send or receive messages and calls dropping out all the time. It is even the same sometimes when we go outside.
I will not be renewing my contract when it runs out in a few months. Shame as EE have been very helpful and reliable over the years, but the price of their services its not justifiable compared to others.

I've just jumped on this looking for answres to the same question. Yesterday I drove from Oxford to Southampton and apart from a brief burst of 4G - the most I could get was E (Edge) - no 3G, 4G or 5G at all on the journey. I even stopped on 3 occasions and switched off my phone and restarted it. I've now reported a poor signal at my home address (multiple EE devices) on at least 6 occasions and all I seem to get is we've checked your area and can find no fault. Even the EE shop in townm says the signal is poor!! What the heck is happening?

Hi @David72a and @Woodstock25,
You can check for and report local network issues at Service Status Checker | Check Network Problems in Your Area | EE.
If you are consistently experiencing issues across a wide area, it could point to an issue with your phone.
If that's the case, I'd recommend speaking to Technical Support on 150 who can run through some diagnostics with you.
James

Thanks James, You do, of course, realise how difficult it actually is to speak to someone in technical support these days with this attricious 150 text back system? I've been in a loop for the last hour and every time I click the link I am being sent I get "theres been a problem with your request"
Going around iin flippin circles! Fed up to the back teeth!!

and when you click the 'call us' I get another text!

The symptoms you're listing here, are a mixture of perfectly normal and odd.
Lack of 3G is expected - the technology was switched off in January 2024. Lack of 5G is no major surprise - the network is far more early-stage than the mature base-4G layer.
Lack of 4G is unusual - the reselection criteria are quite aggressive to move a phone back to 4G after a drop to 2G. If this persists after a device restart and is happening in multiple areas, I would be strongly inclined towards a phone fault.
A 2way SIM-swap or comparison with another EE user, would be the acid test.
