Hi, I’m having same Kind of problems. Signal in my phone seems to be weaker than it has been. Some times I’m not able to make even a call. Is EE making its network worse on purpose?

Good morning @MikkoMike.
Welcome to the EE Community.
Does this happen in multiple locations?
Are you connect to 4G or 5G?

It is happening all around London. My family is having same kind of problem with their phones. My daughters phone didn’t work for 3 hours yesterday. She tried to call me but was not able to do that. And message didn’t get through. What is happening to EE now. Everything has worked in the past but not anymore.

Thanks for confirming @MikkoMike.
As this is happening to others, I'd recommend checking the area using the Status Checker.
This will show of any known faults or maintenance work.
If nothing shows, you can also report a problem which will be investigated by our tech team.

I'm unsure what motivation any operator would have for intentionally degrading service, but there's a lot to be said for perception. Some users get concerned when their indicated service is reduced, when this can often mean higher-band carriers are in use and thus improved service should result.
You mention that your daughter's phone was unable to make a call to you yesterday - was she unable to dial out? And if so, did her phone show coverage indicators? Was she able to send a text message? Or was it that her outbound attempts worked, but your phone was unable to receive? In which case the same questions apply to your phone - was coverage displayed at the time?
If calls are failing when coverage is shown, then that's a problem which should be reported. A methodical approach is often best with fault finding, to identify the cause of the issue.
