Poor reception

In Mentmore LU7 0QG the reception on EE is hopeless. It quite often in a conversation just cuts out or the recipient cant hear me. Futher I have an additional problem that smart meter readings are transmitted on 2G but that doesnt work either. I would like EE to be able to boost the signals or provide better aerial coverage. This is an URGENT problem the solution of which is not on the website. If the problems cannot be solved we will have to change supplier as an hour and a half in a phone queue isnt acceptable either.

Poor coverage in some locations is an unavoidable reality of mobile networks and virtually impossible to completely eliminate. If there was a quick & easy panacea for poor coverage, then that is an easy solution to 100% national coverage which no network offers.

You've not mentioned if this is just an indoor issue or outdoors, but EE offer WiFi-calling to mitigate for poor indoor coverage.

The solution to poor coverage areas is to build additional network sites, but this is not always quick or straightforward. Have you surveyed alternative networks in your locality to establish whether you have a viable other option?
