Not registered on network EE samsung A34

Hi, my phone recently had issues charging and while it was being fixed I put my SIM in an older phone (which worked fine). Now when I put it in my a34, no matter what I do it says 'not registered on the network', so unless I'm on WiFi I can't male or revieve calls, texts or use my data. I have called EE who said it must be poor signal, but having travelled across the UK I can confirm it isn't.  

I have tried every suggestion from resetting networks, restarting, switching aeroplane mode on and off, checking sim etc, and nothing is working. Any other ideas?

Does your SIM work in another phone?

If you do a manual network search, does the phone find EE? Can you manually select it?
