I've had to spend 2 hours at the doctors because I can't receive calls from them. This could be a life threatening situation if my daughter couldn't have got me to the doctors.

I've managed to call EE on my neighbours phone. They are sending a new sim. Nothing wrong with my phone, but 'maybe ' the update has affected my sim . I'll hopefully receive the sim on Saturday.

In the meantime I'll but another phone and a payg sim as I can't be without a means to communicate with my doctor or to call for outside help.

If you've not done so already, try toggling flight mode to ensure your phone hasn't "dropped off" available coverage.

Use the "check service status" option on https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile-coverage-checker  in the first instance, to check for local service outages. The "report a problem" link should be used if no issues are reported but EE users continue to have issues.A loss of coverage will remove the ability to make/receive calls, send/receive texts or use mobile data.

If you're in the UK and have a WiFi connection, you can use WiFi-calling to keep using your phone as normal without needing network coverage.

Hi @Jianna

Are you on EE PAYG or pay monthly contract.

What device do you have.

Thanks

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Refer to the advice posted by myself at 5.01pm today

When i checked this afternoon there were no problems now it says working on some problems, but should be able to use as normal. But that's for the app

I've tried everything. I can't register on network and Wi Fi calling doesn't work. No problems before I updated the phone.

@Jianna , are you able to do a sim swap with someone else to see if it is the SIM card or the phone that has the problem?

You can do this with anyone you know, that will give some idea whether it is your phone or SIM card causing the problem.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using web based app or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

My neighbour is going to bring a s spare phone over to try that.

This is really a awkward as I can't even call a taxi to take me to the doctors, so have to hope a kind neighbour is in to help me
