"No service" at top of screen. Call Failed if I try calling 150. Wifi is connected and wifi calls is switched on. Have tried the SIM in two different handsets. Completely stuck.
Any ideas appreciated.

Have you been able to use WiFi-calling on this phone previously? Do other internet-based functions work over the same WiFi connection?

@JP172 If the device shows no service and the sim doesn’t work in a different device and you do normally have a cellular connection in this location and there are no known network issues in this area and WiFi calling doesn’t work then you need to request a replacement sim. But is this a contract sim or PAYG sim ?

Try a manual network search via the phone's network selection menu - does EE show? And if yes - can you manually select it?
If EE doesn't show, you've just proven a local network outage and the "no service" is explained. If EE does show, then whether you can select it or not, would be evidence (or not) of an account/SIM issue.

Thank you, yes earlier i borrowed someones phone to call in to EE. They are sending a replacement SIM.
@bristolian I couldn't turn off automatic searching.
Hopefully I'll get there with a new SIM. Funny thing this situation has shown me, I need Whatsapp and Email far more than I need the ability to take/make calls.
