I have not had any service from my home for at least 5 days now. I went to the EE shop who told me that they had routed me through the Internet but this didn't work when I tried to use it at home.
I gather it is a problem with a mobile mast but this is not good enough. EE has not contacted me, I expect some compensation but have not heard. I would also expect that EE could put in a temporary re-routing measure while they repair the fault.
Any Ideas what I can do to in the meantime. I don't have a landline.

Hi @JudyP1.
Welcome to the community.
Does the Network Status Checker show a problem within your area?
Speak soon,
Katie

You can use the "My Places" feature on the status checker already linked to, to register upto 5 UK locations and receive text or email notifications of issues in those areas.

Anytime you have WiFi available, you can use WiFi-calling to continue using your phone without needing mobile network coverage. Details are at https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile/manage-use/using-phone-features/use-wifi-calling - this is probably what the store suggested you use.
