New phone but no network out and about

Help!

I got a new EE sim which transferred on Tuesday. I can use my phone at home on the wifi but when I'm out there's no network and I have no 5G. I'm not sure how to fix it. I tried turning it off and removing the sim, but nothing.

Can anyone help me fix this problem

Are you saying that your SIM has been replaced but you're still using the same phone? Or that you've got a new phone?

In other words, are you using the same phone as, presumably, when it last worked on the mobile network - which was when?

I have a new phone and new sim. I moved from another network

Thanks for confirming you have a new phone and sim card.

Did you port your number in from another Network? 

Do you see a signal on your phone? 

Please could you try turning the phone off and back on.

Have you ever had network coverage using this new phone?

Try a manual network search, does EE show? Try connecting manually if so.
