Network issues outdoor

I am facing network issues both outdoor and indoor, the coverage is only 1 bar and sometimes no signal. i have checked the coverage checker and i should have atleast 3 bars of 4G signal. i tried reporting to EE and everytime i am getting a response that it is a one time issue, and i know its not one time issue. I also have a vodafone mobile (work phone) where i get full reception and good speeds, i only have problems with EE.

is there any other way to report, so the guys at EE take it seriously?

i know about wifi calling, but if i should use wifi calling why should i pay for EE's services?

Hi @Jaga2405

Thanks for coming to the community.

If you enter the postcode on the coverage checker, and select 'check status' you will have the option to report the problem and register for updates on the area. Our network team will send an update when they have more information.

If you would like further information on the area, please give us a call on 150 and the team can get this looked into in more detail.

Thanks 🙂

I'm curious why you think EE haven't taken your concerns seriously - a CS agent isn't in a position to improve network coverage if that is the underlying issue.

100% national indoor coverage is nigh-on impossible, but WiFi-calling is an excellent mitigation whenever indo coverage issues occur. You pay for access to EE network services, whether that's over mobile technology or WiFi.

Do other EE phones in this same location get the same service.

Thanks for your reply.

I understand that a cs agent cannot do anything about improving signal
strength but for beginners they shouldn’t be closing my ticket saying it’s
an onetime issue.

I constantly have this problem. I understand indoor coverage can’t be
guaranteed by any network but my biggest concern in the outdoor signal is
not good either. My wife also has EE and have the similar problem.

My work phone has full service both indoor and outdoor, so there is
something wrong with the signal from EE. As a customer, I am asking to get
service for what I pay for and I don’t think that’s anything wrong with it.

Hi Leanne,

Thanks for your comment. I’ve already checked the coverage checker and it
says coverage of 3+bars outdoor and variable coverage indoor.

But I am getting one bar of signal outdoor. I’ve tried reporting on the
coverage tracker only to get the ticket closed saying its an one time issue.

I also tired to put my phone on airplane mode, restart the device. But
still the issue persists.

Different levels of coverage from different networks are quite normal, as are variable indicated bars on your phone's screen, due to the differing calculations that go into them. Are you having any problems using your phone outdoors in this location?

The coverage maps are a best-efforts prediction and not a guarantee of service.
