Mobile coverage not what advertised - what are my options?

Just purchased a 4G mobile broadband device after checking the coverage on EE coverage checker page which says coverage is excellent inside and out.  Best I can get though in one part of home is 2 bars but 99% of the time I have just 1 bar.

Are there any options to return this as it's not fit for purpose and doesn't provide the signal strength that is advertised?

There's nothing inherently wrong with "just 1 bar" - in crude terms, it's still a bar. What service problems are you having?

All online coverage maps are a computer-prediction and are never a guarantee of service. Any products purchased online or via telesales in the UK come with a 14days statutory "change of mind" right of return, this includes mobile telephony.
