Hi members

I am having problems making or receiving calls on my phone. I have tried on my daughter's and she too cannot make or receive calls. We are both on the EE network. I can't  call EE on their number 150 or the mobile number.

Anyone having same issues? How can I contact EE to sort the problem for us?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Do your phones show network coverage? Unless you're using WiFi-calling, you need network service to make & receive calls, or send & receive text messages?

Can you send & receive text messages?

Thanks @bristolian for responding.

My phone is showing network coverage but I cannot send or receive calls or text messages

Thanks for confirming @Wissie

Can you use mobile data OK?

Does this occur within one area?

If yes, I'd recommend checking the Status Checker for any known issues.

Hi @Katie_B

I can use my data. I can go on Internet,  YouTube, etc.

I cannit make or receive calls or texts. Each time I try to call a message is coming back saying MOBILE NETWORK NOT AVAILABLE.

This is very frustrating because I have missed appointments that were scheduled for today and I cannot call anyone to cancel the appointments. There is no email address to contact EE. The only means if contact is to call them or send a text, both of which I cannot do right now.

You can contact EE CS from any other phone if necessary, however...

Is this problem limited to one specific location, or is it more generalised? Do you get the same issue when using WiFi-calling?

When did you last toggle flight mode on your phone?

Hi @bristolian

Thanks for getting in touch. There are 2 people in my household and we are both having the same problem so cannot call EE CS.

I can call on WhatsApp but cannot make normal calls or receive calls. This is a generalised problem not isolated to one particular area.

Kind regards

You don't need a mobile to contact CS.

To be clear - are you saying that you're able to connect to WiFi-calling, but the symptoms are then the same as when using the mobile network?

That would suggest an account issue if so - you've ruled out the radio network as a cause, only leaving the core network and the SIM/account.
