Hi, looking for some help to resolve an issue with my mobile signal whilst driving from Ramsgate Kent To Canterbury Kent.
I am using the same iPhone 11 on EE network that I’ve always been using while doing this same journey and would listen to either internet radio or live stream social media , it never cut out going or back, but over the last month my internet radio will constantly go down as will my live streaming constantly trying to reconnect.
I have my phone plugged into my infotainment system on a 2019 model car, I have reset my iPhone to factory settings and reset the infotainment system to factory settings yesterday, today I paired the phone with the car and again lost signal to streaming within 5 minutes, it then comes and goes throughout my journey, but it never used to, also my iPhone is on IOS 16.5 the latest settings and all Apps are updated.
does anyone know why this would happen now but not in the past? IT’s baffled me.
Thanks In advance
colin

Have a look at the EE Coverage Checker and have a look for any poor coverage Area(s) along your Journey, you can also check for any Outages or Engineering Works within the Checker.
You could also try setting your Phone to 4G (LTE) Only, this may help by stopping the Device reverting back to 2G or 3G, remember 3G is being Decommissioned this year (https://ee.co.uk/3g-switch-off) and should your Device revert back to 2G this will almost certainly give a lot slower Data Experience for Streaming whilst on the move.
Where is the Phone kept in the Car?, Centre Console , Seat?, having you phone above window height, i.e., Dashboard or Window Mount would also help with the Mobile Network Signal.

Do you have any issue with voice calls on the same route? Do you always have issues in the same location?
Assuming your phone is 4G-enabled, does it show reduced (or 2G/3G) coverage when you have data problems?
