I live in Leicester and have been with EE for years without problems. About six weeks ago, I noticed that much of the time, I couldn’t get a signal, so I replaced the sim card. The problem disappeared for about four weeks, but it’s back again. My phone is a Doro 2404, and I only use the phone for making and receiving calls - you can’t access the Internet.
Help, as this is driving me crazy…

Do other EE users locally, have similar problems in the same locations? If necessary, you could swap your SIM with a known working phone which would highlight whether the device has a fault.

Same! Have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and just moved from ToTheMoon (TTM, which piggybacks of EE) where that was not an issue… what I get is signal strength going all the way down to 1 bar or, for brief moments, all the way to 4 bars. Regular status is 2 bars. When I was in TTM looked like it was more consistent. Will get a new sim to see if things change.

Is this just an issue of perceived coverage varying by the on-screen bars?
Or are you having any service issues with your phone as a result?
