I'm no longer with EE but still receive Network Status Update emails

How can I stop receiving these emails?  There is no unsubscribe option.  My EE account has been closed, so I can't log in.  My mobile number is not recognised.  The online chat doesn't work.  You don't make it easy for people to contact you.

@diomerda  I would of thought that calling would be easy.   Online chat is for contract customers. Obviously if your not an EE customer you don’t have an account to login too and your number isn’t recognised as it’s not with EE.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

First of all, thanks for the good suggestion, much appreciated. Secondly, I live in Italy, left UK in 2019, wouldn't ever spend a cent calling overseas for this stupid emails still keeping coming since then.

@diomerda : Yes, there is a strong case for EE including an unsubscribe link in such texts in case ex-EE users have ported away the no. with which they registered to "My Places" & so it no longer recognises it as an EE no.

You originally set up these network status updates from the Network Status Checker 's  Manage my places. Unfortunately once you have left EE you can't remove it from there as it no longer recognises your no. You will need to call CS to remove it for you. Try calling CS on the Freephone no. in my sig. on Skype over WiFi. It should be free.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

Thanks. Should it be free even from abroad (Italy)?

I understand so, as long as you are calling a UK Freephone no. You can't be charged anyway unless you put money on your Skype a/c.
