Anyone else had really slow speeds and regular disconnects lately in the IV36 area around forres/elgin? We use a EE 4G router as there is no fibre available in rural areas lol but it's been fine for the last 12 months up until recently. Seems to be at peak times the speeds are throttled lately. Mast work had been done in the area but was supposedly completed. Totally unusable in the evenings if your trying to online game

Hi @tomgforres,
Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂
Does the Network Status Checker report any problems in the area?

There was a problem in the area as the OP reported, @tomgforres have you reported the issue to the CS team or on the check availability site?
Our engineers have fixed a problem here. It should all be working again now. If you're still experiencing problems, let us know.
Or try these quick fixesWith My Places, we'll get in touch if there are any network issues that will affect you at this address.

Does the router allow you to identify which EARFCN are in use when you experience slow speeds?
Throttling is unlikely, but heavier network loading at certain times of day is a distinct possibility.
