If you've not done so already, try toggling flight mode to ensure your phone hasn't "dropped off" available coverage. Do other EE users locally, have similar issues?

Use the "check service status" option on https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile-coverage-checker  in the first instance, to check for local service outages. The "report a problem" link should be used if no issues are reported but EE users continue to have issues.A loss of coverage will remove the ability to make/receive calls, send/receive texts or use mobile data.

If you're in the UK and have a WiFi connection, you can use WiFi-calling to keep using your phone as normal without needing network coverage.

Do other EE users locally, have similar issues? If yes - there's your answer.

If no... please try a 2way SIM-swap.

Put a known working SIM in your non-working phone, what result?

Ive tried everything. Nothing works. EE ARE OF NO ASSISTANCE

@Julieh60 , have you tried what @bristolian has suggested, two way swap to see if either the SIM card is faulty or the phone is faulty? If one or the other or both do not work, then there is your answer.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using web based app or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

In which case what was the result of the 2way SIM-swap I suggested?

Hey there @Julieh60

Welcome to the EE Community!

You mentioned having tried everything here, but there are a magnitude of factors that can influence your loss of service, and the best way to recommend troubleshooting is to narrow down the root cause.

You've not mentioned if you're aware of any other EE users experiencing the same issues - this can help us identify if it's down to the network.

The 2 way SIM test @bristolian mentioned is one of the best things you can try too, as this will isolate the fault to the SIM or the handset.

Once we know where this lies, we're better equipped to investigate from there.

Peter
