Update: 06 March 2026
Over the past few weeks, our engineers have completed the work on the first mast to improve 5G service in the area.
For the second location, the tree has been removed by the contractors. Our engineers are working with the power company to arrange a date to access the area and install the power supply needed for the new mast. Once we have a date for the power installation we can confirm an approximate on-air date for the new mast.
We will keep you updated on this post.
Update: 12 February 2026
Over the past few weeks, our engineers have experienced a delay completing the work needed on the first mast to improve 5G service. Due to the location of the mast, to access the equipment we require an elevated work platform to access the equipment and have been unable to secure this before the end of January. Barring any further unseen delays, we expect the work to be completed by the end of March.
For the second location, our engineers require a tree to be removed to access the power supply. We're working with contractors to arrange a date for the tree removal. Once the tree has been removed and the power company has installed the power supply, we can confirm an approximate on-air date for the new mast.

Update: 07 January 2026
Over the past month, our engineers have completed additional work on the first mast to improve capacity and service in the area. The mast currently has an open service ticket for 5G performance, we expect this to be resolved by the end of January.
For the second site, we have built the equipment needed for the new mast and have found further work is needed at the area before the power supply can be installed. Once all work has been completed and we have a date for the power company to install the power supply we can confirm an approximate on-air date for the new mast.
We will keep you updated on this post.
We are aware of a mobile signal issue that is affecting some of our customers in the Twinbrook and Derriaghy area. Our mast in the area had to be removed from the existing site at the end of November 2025, as this was requested by the land owner.
As soon as we were made aware our equipment would need to be relocated, our engineers began looking for a new location for the mast. To restore the same level of service in the area the previous mast provided, we will require three new masts:
The first site is live and working, but is in the process of being improved. All going well, this should be completed by the end of December and will improve service for affected users.
The second site is built, but is awaiting power supply. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, this should be completed by the end of February 2026.
The third is awaiting surveys to make sure the location is suitable for the equipment.
We will post any updates here.
