Apologies if this is in the wrong thread, this is my first post.
I am having issues with apple carplay.
This is only when making EE to EE calls.
When i call EE numbers i cant hear any audio, however when calling other network numbers the audio plays just fine and i can hear them.
I did not have this issue when i was with Vodafone and wanted to know if there is a fix for this. Does EE use a different type of calling protocol when calling EE numbers. I have tried using my sisters phone who is also on EE and it does the same thing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Zain

@Zaint123 It works fine for me via CarPlay. And CarPlay is just an interface to use your phone everything is done through your phone.
Is this a new phone on EE or did you bring this over from Voda ?

Is VoLTE/4G-calling displayed on your phone's screen when this happens?
Are calls dialled from your phone also affected?

@Chris_B it is an unlocked phone. I was with BT before i was with Vodafone and was having the same issue. Ive heard that BT and EE use the same network. I moved from BT to Vodafone and now to EE.
@bristolian i have not actually noticed what it says on the top regarding the network during a call. Calls dialled whilst not connected to CarPlay are completely fine.

This would suggest EE's network is functioning, and the issue could lie within the Apple ecoystem.
