Anyone else noticed that ever since 5G was launched how pathetic and slow and how STILL far too many areas don’t even have 5G yet we are paying over the odds for a service that is sub standard to that of 4G? Get a feeling we have been made mugs of? Just a thought!

What problems are you experiencing with your 5G service? Have you reported any issues with the Network Status Checker?

@Johnjak65  Are you taking in to account that EE had to swap out all the Huawei equipment so this obviously had an impact on the rollout.  And I’ve noticed how I now get 5G at home and that’s only been available to me in the last 7-8 months so while it’s not been as quick as some would like it is still happening.     If you was one of the early adopters of 5G then yes you paid for it as it’s now standard on all contracts.    4G wasn’t ever where when it launched just like 5G and it doesn’t happen over night.   4G took a few years before there was really good coverage like 3G was.

EE's 4G network has been rolling out since over 11 years, 5G only 3. There were similar complaints about 4G coverage when the network was in the early stages.

What is it you use your phone for, that 4G speeds are insufficient?
