5g seems to be faulty

Hi,

I have 5G on my current plan. But it appears that in my area of Port Talbot the 5G just dips off. Where I see other people still have 5G. Not sure if it is my phone or just EE service in general.

Would appreciate if anyone has any info about this.

Hi @NHGolding10

Welcome to the community.

Have you checked your postcode on our coverage checker? What is the estimate for your area?

@NHGolding10  Is that other people on EE or on a different network?    If that’s a different network that has no correlation with what you receive on EE.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Your phone should seamlessly use EE's 4G network anytime you don't have 5G service.

Out of interest, what is it you want to do with your phone that 4G isn't suitable?

Checking the coverage prediction tool is a good place to diagnose queries such as this.
