As the 3G network is now switched off, does this mean that areas that previously had 3G signal have now been transitioned to 4G or is this not the case?

4G coverage has exceeded that of 2G & 3G for many years now.
No new 3G equipment had been installed for very many years, all recent new sites have been 4G-enabled at the bare minimum.
