Morning - I am using a huawei B525 4g router and getting 40Mbps download but only 0.4 upload. When I check it, the rate is good for moment and then collapses as though it is being being clamped somewhere. Any ideas?

Forget speed check. Are you having and real world usage issues?
Thanks

Thanks for the advice Grand Master I have now forgotten my use of speed check. However I still find 'real world' uploads are very slow, almost as though the asymmetry between download and upload speeds is wrong or at least biased too much toward the download. I suppose I could check the speed to find out but that seemed to be the wrong approach. Is there another way?

Do we have any problems reported on the EE Network Status Checker for your area?

Does anyone have knowledge of the correct settings for a Huawei B525 router? Should I be looking at replacing it? or is it a network/sim issue. It seems to have got worse. Thanks

Hi @gardwell1961
I would recommend having a chat with our Technical Support team so they can look into this for you.
