Upgraded sim and data add on

I’ve just purchased a 20GB data repeat add on as we have just moved house and have no WiFi for a while. 
I then realised I was overdue an upgrade and it was far cheaper to upgrade to unlimited than pay the £30 add on. 
how do I cancel the add on? Or will it be cancelled automatically since the upgrade?
I’ve tried texting stop etc and nothing is working. I haven’t actually used any of the data from it yet as I still have 4G left on my plan.
