Hi EE,
I'm writing to flag what I believe is an unintended website block caused by parental controls.
The site in question is: https://app.chickenru.sh
It's a location-based team scavenger hunt game used for corporate team-building and other events, and contains no adult or inappropriate content.
When attempting to access it on EE's mobile data (or via networks that use EE's filtering like Utility Warehouse), it’s blocked unless parental controls are turned off. I've confirmed this on multiple devices and accounts.
Can this be reviewed and reclassified so that it's accessible without requiring 18+ content permissions?
Happy to provide more information or context if needed.
Thanks!
Fred

Hi @fredbeast.
Welcome to the EE Community, and thanks for flagging this too.
I can definitely get this highlighted to the relevant team for you.
Just to be sure do you know if broadband users are also being affected, or does it only seem to be EE mobile connections?

Hi @Peter_W
Thanks so much for the quick reply!
I am unsure on Broadband users honestly, I haven't been able to find someone to test it - so only confirmed on EE mobile connections for now.
Some users have reported that it may have been parental controls, but in my testing when visiting the URL it just fails to load and gives a browser error.
On iOS:
-> Safari: Safari couldn't open the page because the server stopped responding.
-> Chrome: This site can't provide a secure connection. ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH
The common theme is it's EE network devices on mobile data & is resolved by turning off their parental controls.
Many thanks,
Fred

Thanks @fredbeast.
I'll get this reported for you now, and once I get an update, or if I need any further details, I'll let you know 😊
