Hi. We would like to be able to disable the use of our daughter's phone(s) when refusing to go to school etc so they can't call or text or use mobile data. Does EE allow this?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

EE as a network operator, allows mobile data (a network function) to be disabled on an on-demand basis via the myEE app. Outbound call restrictions can be applied by CS on request via 150.
A device-level control such as what I suspect you're looking for, is certainly provided for by Android parental controls. Apple may offer something similar.

Yes Apple do, by going to settings and doing it that way.

Great, thanks for the info. Do they allow text restrictions too?

Hi. Yes. We would be looking to temporarily suspend all services like data, calls and texts so the phone is unusable for a period of time. I know Smarty allow this sort of feature by way of asking their CS to restrict all services on the number/account for 24hrs so wondering if it's as easy to do on EE.

@welsha On what phone ? The best way is to setup the device for your child that gives you the control of that device.
