No internet

I have two phones on my mobile contract, one of which is showing as being registered on the network and on which calls and message texts can be made. However it will not allow me access to the internet. A small X appears beside the 4G signal icon top right on the phone. This happened after I tested a different operator's sim card in the phone. Before I did this, I was getting internet access. After I took out the test sim card and inserted the EE card again, I no longer get internet access. The phone is an old Samsung. Any suggestions or help much appreciated. Thank you

@kilconquhar : Sounds like it may still have the APN of the different operator. Either:

  1. For most phones, you can download the settings needed for the Internet from the online set up tool , OR
  2. Manually search the Network Operators & select EE from list.
