National Lottery App and Online
Sign in to the app, try to purchase ticket, tells me "You are Offline"
Re-sign in, re attempt, again signs me out, says I'm offline check Internet.
Tried on Google, done exact same.
My signal is absolutely fine!
My parental access is 18+ too

Hi @Andy6688
Thanks for coming to the community.
What device are you using? Do you only get the offline message when using the app?
If so, have you tried deleting and re-installing the app?
Leanne 🙂

Tried to explain earlier in the year on this thread that I was, and still am, having the same issue with EE eSIM only on same phone. Other network provider eSIMs work fine, even with the EE MVNO Mozillion.
Only to be criticised for not doing a Google search pointing the finger at the National Lottery app itself rather than with EE. Which I disagree with and suspect it to be an EE content lock filter issue. And yes it is turned off.

@Andy6688
Does the app work normally if you are connected through WiFi?

This problem only occurs when connected on EE mobile data, the app works fine on WiFi.

I was having the same problems on a Samsung Galaxy A55 on 5G.
I had tried all the usual stuff. Deleting and reinstalling the app. Powered the phone off & on and still no joy.
I have just done the latest update, and still no joy.
Disconnected & reconnected from the EE network in the phone settings, and still no joy.
Switched between 4G & 5G and still no joy.
Out of curiosity, the last thing I did was turn off Bluetooth, went back to the lottery app, and hey presto, it allowed me to buy a ticket.
I still wasn't convinced the issue was Bluetooth related so googled.
Can bluetooth interfere with mobile data, and this is what came up.
Yes, Bluetooth can indirectly interfere with a mobile data connection by causing interference on the same radio frequencies used by mobile networks, leading to slower speeds or dropped connections. Both Bluetooth and mobile data technologies, such as 4G, use the 2.4 GHz frequency band, and a high concentration of devices can cause congestion and disrupt signal transmission. This interference is similar to how Bluetooth can interfere with Wi-Fi, though Bluetooth uses frequency hopping to minimize collisions.
I reenabled Bluetooth, went back to the app and bought another ticket.
TBH, I'm still not convinced it is Bluetooth related, but something I've done within the last hour has fixed the problem for me.

Had the same issue with the National Lottery app. Tried everything. Then turned off Bluetooth and it logged into the app after a longish loading circle.
UPDATE: It still doesn't work. I tried to log in again and it still says offline. Web access works. I would imagine this is an EE block thing or an app update that has caused a bug. It will be resolved but will have to wait.
UPDATE: Logged into EE account and content control was set to 13+. I didn't do this ever so it was done in error by EE. I tried the NL app again no change but the website worked. Will have to wait for a fix on the app.

Experiencing the exact same issue.

@jpokeeffe42 Have you allowed the app to have access to your location ? Even if its just while you use the app ?

Yep, precise geo location is enabled for the app.
