Good morning EE,
I just moved my phone no with EE and I keep calling the customer service because I have issue using my mobile data outside, WhatsApp is not working as before, I can not send voice messages, or pictures and receive them. Another app is not working, Strava even is the signal gives me full 5G signal.

I didn't have this issue with the previous provider.

I have an iPhone 15

Please help

Welcome to the community,

Are you on pay as you go or contract? 5G does not work on pay as you go.

Are you able to make calls and send text not using any app, but making calls via cellular and same with text?

Not sure why it is not working , but do you have parental control on? This could be the issue, which you can check via settings in the EE App? If it is on, that is why the apps may not be working and need changing.

If on pay as you go, you will need to make a refundable amount to prove that you are over 18, which you can do with a credit card over the phone or by going to an EE high street store, with photo ID.

If on contract, you can do this via the EE App and change it, this is done for security reasons, so that people under the age of 18 are safe, no matter what age you are, easily changed if the right age.

When you mention data not working, is it a case of this not connecting full stop, or can it intermittently vary based on location and time of day?

What model of phone are you using too, as we want to make sure this is best configured to work with our network.
