Hi there.
I'm looking to enable my IoT device with mobile data which would consume minimum data and requires no text and no calls. Ideally 100MB prepaid or so for a reasonable price. Or to pay per MB with no data plan with automatic top up. Does EE offer anything like this for non-business customers? Couldn't find anything reasonably priced for my needs and this was the lowest I could get:
Drop minutes and texts to 0, reduce 8Gb to 100MB should be worth something like £1-2 per month, but there are no plans or packages like this. Are there better option at EE?
Would prefer EE due to the mobile network coverage in the area.

Thanks for confirming all of that for me, @AntonD.
I've fed this back now to see if we can get confirmation, as there's a chance that this may be an old web page.
If I get an update I'll let you know!
Peter

Did this SIM originally cost you £1 from EE & you subsequently topped up another £5?
With the SIM still in phone, Visit http://add-on.ee.co.uk/status when not connected to WiFi to see your data & credit status. What does it say, obscuring your mobile no.?

I did order the sim with, as I thought, the £1 plan and paid during the checkout.
later I topped up £5 to see what I can buy like addon packages etc.
the status page says:
you account: 07376*****
your data 0MB left \ 0MB
you don’t have any data
(get data)
current credit
£4.80
(top up)

multiple options from 1GB/24H £3 and up to unlimited/30days £50.
per day doesn’t work for me, but looking at cheapest 30d is 6GB £15. Nothing fancy, unfortunately.

It appears that somehow you haven't bought a prepaid £1 data SIM but a standard PAYG phone SIM.
What does texting HELP to 150 list?
