Looking for a monthly unlimited data sim with no contract

Sounds simple, right?

I can't get one online - website is saying that I have to call someone to get this set up. I have just spent an hour talking to someone in the web chat to get this set up - only to find out twice they have been trying to get me to sign a 24 monthly contract. Twice I have said I'm not signing it - they are saying it's a technical glitch and although the agreement states throughout that I'm signing a 24 month contract, I've to trust them and that I will really be signing up to a 1 month rolling contract, and that I can just cancel it if it's not right...

I am so fed up of these conversations on the web chat to be honest. I never end up getting what I am asking for, I am constantly being mis-sold or they're trying to sell me broadband that I don't want.

Can someone PLEASE tell me how I can get this data sim? I don't live near a shop sadly, and I can't buy one online as it's saying I need to call. I'm really at the point now of being unwilling to call, considering what's just happened.

@CaraSam  Right HERE for 30 day rolling contract.  And right HERE for a data only 30 day rolling contract

If you don’t want a 30 day rolling contract you get a PAYG sim

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Sadly it doesn't work - I'm getting the message: You're unable to add another product to your account at this time.
I have 2 sims (mine and my partners) and that's all I have.

Apparently I'm ok to add another product to my account if I sign a 24 month contract though

@CaraSam  If you’re getting that online then you would have failed the credit check if you had tried over the phone.   How long have you been an EE customer for?   If you’ve just joined EE then you need to pay a few months of bills in order to takeout an additional line on your account,  you have an internal credit limit with EE as they need to know your going to pay on time each month before they allow additional lines on your account.

I definitely didn't fail a credit check, I've been with EE since December and have no internal credit limit. Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it, but this is why I'm stuck. None of this is the issue but I can't seem to move forward.

Hi @CaraSam

That does sound strange, I know @Chris_B  has mentioned we need to wait a few month to look at eligibility of adding additional lines on the account.

I know you have already spoken with someone on the phone, but if you are still seeing that error message I would definitely recommend calling up and discussing it further.

Thanks

Ritu

All you need to buy is the £35 PAYG SIM with unlimited data with unlimited mins & texts thrown in if you are able to use them. It can be discounted to £31.50 pm in succeeding months if you pay by Direct Card Payment. No contract!
