Find it very misleading to state "no charge Eu Roaming" and then find there's a 50gb FUP?
Annoyingly, very nearly fell for this at £29 pcm, which is very good value. But, not as inferred in the advertising banner.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

A FUP is not a charge but an allowance. On plans without this add-on you would need to pay separately for roaming.

Thanks

A 50GB fair usage policy while roaming in the EU and the ROW Zone 1 Destinations is a lot more generous than most of the market.
You can see the full list of countries in the EU and Zone 1 zones which are included in Full Works plans here: ee.co.uk/roamingrefresh
Other MNO competitors have EU Roaming FUPs at 12GB and 25GB and some others have some significant throttling/traffic management in the further countries such as the USA.
Coupling in that you're getting those further Destinations under Zone 1, plus an Inclusive Extra worth up to £20pm, access to 5G SA and Network Boost, and free Unlimited Watch Data if you have a cellular smart watch (worth £7pm), I don't think there's a better value deal going.

Sharp practice disguised by semantics

If I buy a can of beans and find it's a can of sweetcorn I'm not going to be very happy.
If a sim card is advertised as having no eu roaming charge and sign up to it, I expect not to be charged for data roaming in Europe and for that to be unlimited on an unlimited plan.
The generosity of the advertised plan, or not, is irrelevant. I have been deliberately drawn to the offer by something that is inferred but is not factually the case.
In the past truth world we live in I just want an honest advert that says our unlimited data sim only includes 50gb allowance, without having to read reams of legal jargon in the T&C's.
Would have plumped for it for our motorhome travels but the offer isn't quite the tin of beans I'd thought it as!

OK.
Best of luck finding an offer that suits your needs👍

It doesn't say the EU or further roaming allowance is unlimited just that this is free which on the plan you are referring to is the case unlike other SIM free tariffs which do not have this benefit. The unlimited parts of the plan are clearly written as "unlimited".(Min, text, data, watch data).
It does explain this under the "legal bit" at the bottom of the page as well. As you would be committing to contract it is always sensible to read the T&C, this applies to any contract not just EE.
Thanks

I am paying £16 a month on a rolling monthly contract for 125GB data and 100 texts and it says on the app that roaming the EU charge is included in my monthly fee, I guess what it means in reality is that the data is capped if any is included with the fee (fee paid for or is part of contract) and does give the impression that unlimited data is included as it doesn't say otherwise.
Or am I missing something here, if I am I blame the meds I am on, also my partner lives in The Hague though ive not been over the last 3 years (medical stuff) she gets a contract ee sim from me when she visits the UK cos I have got 3 here on my boat and she will be here in 3 weeks 😁
Weird, I just noticed 3 three times in that last ramble.

Hi @Karrier-Bag
Thanks for coming to the community.
Any of the plans that include EU roaming, or have the £2.59 daily roaming charge, will let you use your minutes and texts while in an EU country, and also 50GB of your data plan.
Which plan do you currently have? If you aren't sure, you can check in the EE app.
When did your current contract start?
Michael
