Extra mobile data

Why is the extra data so expensive as compared to last year.....whilst your competition  has reduced there's....and could some one please tell me what Zone 1 and 2and 3 means when buying data?Thank you

@Ezma : Are you on contract or PAYG? Last year you were on PAYG, so I'll assume that.

It is usually cheaper per data to buy a pack by texting ALL PLANS to 150 than buying data add-ons.

ROW Zone 1, 2 & 3 are EE's roaming zones for buying Roaming Passes, not specifically for data, when you are on contract & have no relevance for PAYG.
