Essential SIM Unlimited vs Essential Data SIM Unlimited - What's the difference?

Besides the "Data" SIM coming with no inclusive SMS's or Voice, what's the difference between the two tariffs?

Can you use a standard SIM tariff in a MiFi device? Can you share data from the Data SIM to phones in the family group?

  1. None.
  2. You may use any SIM in a mobile router. As long as you don't get a 30-day contract term 4GEE WiFi SIM you may gift data to other nos. under your Family MyEE.

Mint, I thought that may have been the case. Thanks for confirming.

I don't see any advantage in buying a data SIM over a phone SIM. They are usually a bit dearer with no calls or texts allowances, altho' you can still make them at standard per-unit rates.
