@Ddjj44  Yes get a tariff that doesn’t have a speed cap.     I think you’ll find 100Meg speed is fast enough though.

Agree with @Chris_B  on this one. It' not like other networks that have 2meg speeds on some of their plans. 100Meg is perfectly adequate for an essential level plan. Why do you consider 100Mbit/s as poor?

@chistery   It all comes down too it sounds better.  100Meg is faster than the average broadband speed.    I only get 70meg BB but I watch stream HD program with no issues whats so ever.

By March 2022 the median average download speed of UK home broadband connections was 59.4 Mbit/s, a 9.0 Mbit/s (18%) increase on the previous year, as people upgraded to faster services. More than 90% of broadband homes take a superfast package.

Why would you want a unlimited speed tariff? 100Mbps is fast enough for data usage and faster than the rival networks (O2, Three, Vodafone).

The Need for Speed Dude, but what you going to be doing on an Unlimited Speed Plan?, spending most of your Time and Data on SpeedTest.Net.

Don't forget it's not always do-able to get 100mbs+ when your out and about, so when you meet an Unlimited Plan User getting say 95Mbs and your getting the same 95Mbs, just remember your paying less than them for the same Speeds.

Speeds vary depending on such conditions. Travelling in a train, vehicle etc or in a rural area with lack of coverage. It also depends on congestion in your area.

100Mbps is fast enough for HD streaming to several devices, fast app downloads and such. 25Mbps is enough for an HD video and a download run at the same time.

5Mbps is enough for one HD video before slowdown.

But Pay as You go plans doesn’t have a speedcap
