Why as an EE Mobile customer do we not get free access to EE WiFi when BT Mobile customers had access to BT WiFi

Hi @blue-agila

You can

https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile/manage-use/using-phone-features/use-ee-wifi

Just watch out for WiFi  hotspots spoofing and always use a VPN on any public or carrier WiFi networks.

Thanks

I suspect the OP means the BT WiFi that is now being called EE WiFi via customers routers. The whole thing is a little confusing, and may well change in the future. It was also free to BT Broadband customers, but noy (yet) for EE broadband customers, or mobile ones.

When you try to log it does give the option for EE Broadband customers but not mobile

Im talking the new EE public WiFi hotspots formally BT public WiFi

@blue-agila   It is not free for any EE customers, the log in options are just ways to identify you as a customer.

It is a bit confusing, and things may change, but nothing has yet been announced - maybe a future option - with luck.

Because EE has got itself tied up with the complete waste of space that is BT. They no nothing about customer service, don't care about the poor service they provide and as demonstrated by this, they just want you to pay for their appalling services. I can't wait to finish paying fir EE, at least I won't be sending any of my hard earned pennies to anything BT related.
