Former EE Community Manager

Hi there,

For APN settings please see our dedicated Help page at https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile/fix-problem/Managing-APN-settings.

This Help page will give you the link to download the correct APN settings for your device. It will also give you a step-by-step guide for the most modern devices.

Below is a list of EE APN settings for manual input if you need them.

You cannot update/change APN settings on an iPhone as these are locked out by the network and are updated via carrier updates.

Thanks @Lucy170

I would suggest getting in touch with our tech gurus on 150, they can run through troubleshooting with you to see if they can suggest anything else that may be causing this.

Leanne.

Hi @LL2024

Welcome to the community.

It may be worth seeking help from your outdoor camera manufacturer. All of our APN settings are above.

Can I ask why these settings were removed from my original post and made on a new thread by the former CM? What was wrong with mine?

Hey @BrendonH - nothing i'd imagine. But this post/subject receives significant traffic each week, which will have triggered an internal review process. Sean will have likely taken this to process owners behind the scenes and we've been given some signed off content to publish as a result. Similar to any creation or improvements to help pages on the website.

But user posts, replies, solutions etc. play quite a big role in creation and improvement of knowledge content and articles across both Community and Digital Help channels. So please keep them coming.

I am having the same issue since January 2024.
iPhone 12 Pro Max  used to hotspot Mac. IPV4 not provided when tethering (bluetooth or USB). IPV6 pnly.
GlobalProtect client on Mac unable to set up the tunnel.

If I stick my EE SIM in an old iphone - both ipv4 and  ipv6 come up.
Last week I was roaming in the EU and my iPhone on the EE SIM provided both ipv4 and  ipv6.

but I cannot use my iphone as hotspot for working.

EE are useless, the support person was nice and tried to help but she said EE does not support reconfiguring my APN.

shame on EE

After my complaints, EE has been very responsive and helpful - to the extent they can.

They're sure the problem must be fixed by Apple
