I have an EE sim in a 4G operated remoteweather station.
I recently topped up the sim but for some reason the data is not working, however i still receive text messages from it.
I normally use o2 sims in these with no issue but there is no signal in this location so had to go with EE.
When i topped up, does this top up automatically get assigned to data or do i need to do something else?
Thanks.

A call to EE and they reset the sim and it started working again.

They did say the top up should automatically be allocated to the data, we will see. All he did was 'refresh' the sim. Thanks for your replies.
