The app won't let gift data. My mum I on my account and I'm always able to gift data.
She is in Australia at the moment and there isn't even the option on the app

Yes we did buy the roam further add on. That hadn't been put on properly until today.

That's probably why. It might take 24 hours to take effect before she can use her UK allowances there incl. accepting gifts of UK data.
