I have been trying to gift data all morning but I cannot seem to do it.
I get a warning "Sorry, we can't show this device's data right now. Please try again later."
There is no indication of how long this will take, or what the problem is.

How much data have you used so far this month?
If you’re on a unlimited plan you can gift up to 100GB of data or 120GB if you’re on a 5G smart handset plan. This will be the first 100/120GB and any data usage will reduce your giftable allowance.

I have not gifted any data this month and only 10Gb last month - I note someone else has posted on the forum having a similar issue.

The first 100/120GB of your normal usage would reduce the allowance for gifting data, @Kitweuk. So if you have used 100/120GB of mobile data allowance on your phone, you won't be able to gift data to others.
If you speak to our Mobile Care team, they'll be able to confirm whether that's the case or not.

I have the same problem can't gift data since EE made changes to the website. Been trying since August and no joy. I'm fed up with it as this is down to changes with EE not my PC. The app doesn't work either. I have transferred data many times in the past no problem.

Absolutely amateur hour on this thread, you're all asking question that have already been answered.
I am having problems also exactly as above.
I gift data every single month for the last 18months, no i havent used too much of my own,
yet from last month i couldn't sign in on the app at all, yes it had been updated, so when i tried on the website, it just kept saying my data couldn't be displayed and the try later, but still not able to!
Today is the first time ive been able to log into the app, but still unable to gift data. If i cant gift data to my son then its pointless him having a sim only contract with EE, and if i cancel that contract ill be cancelling my own, so you guys need to come up with some answers quick and stop asking questions that have already been answered. I dont pay £100 a month to not be able to use my account as i always have done and how i want to.

this is today on the website, so doesnt work through the app either

Thanks for providing a screenshot of the error you see.
I have taken a look at it but not approved it as this is a public forum and the screenshot has your mobile number.
Have you been able to report this to our technical care team? if not I would recommend doing this so this can be looked into further.

The website and the app are rarely working properly. I've just spent an hour trying to gift data and still nothing. The icon just spins around and takes me back to the start
