Data Gifting & Roaming Abroad

Hi, I am trying to gift data from one line to another. The line gifting from is current in the UK, and the one gifting to is currently abroad.

1. Is it still possible to gift the data?

2. If it is possible, can i then add Roaming Abroad pass to the line abroad and they will be able to use this data?

3. If it is not possible, why is this, as i read on the website that you can still gift data from UK to abroad and they can use it?

At present via MY EE App and Website also, it is not allowing me to Gift any data at all, not sure why this is. I need to be able to do this as a matter urgency. What is the quickest way to rectify?
