While visiting Portugal last weekend, I applied for roaming on EE app and left. But I couldn't use the roaming service. I thought I could use the roaming service because I applied before I left, but I couldn't send a text message to 150 and tried calling several times, but it didn't connect. And a few days ago I found out that a roaming fee of £10 was added to the EE bill. This cost is unfair, so please cancel it.

Are you on PAYG or pay-monthly? It sounds like you're on pay-monthly and added the £10/month "Roam Abroad" billing add-on but didn't enable the roaming facility.

Without roaming being activated on your account, your phone can't connect to networks in foreign countries - there isn't account access on this forum so I'd recommend calling EE C/S on 150 to resolve this.
