Cant connect to mobile data

I switched from PAYG to monthly keeping the same number and since this I don't seem to connect via the mobile data. I have tried all apart from inserting a VPM that I've read about.

Any suggestions on this or how I complete the VPM route?

Welcome to the EE Community 😊

There are a couple of different things we can try to get your data working as it should be. 

When you look at the signal bars in the top corner of your screen, do you see a 4G or 5G indicator?

Also what model of phone are you using at the moment? 

Sometimes you need to set up the APNs in your phone's settings to get online, but these would be the same between EE pay as you go and EE pay monthly, so it's unlikely to be that.
