4g not working

Hi I have a 4GEE sim and in my settings my phone is set to 4G as the preferred one but when I turn on my mobile data it is still using 3G. I am still on the same data pack as before so I tried to change it to a one that supports 4G but when I try I says no other packs are available and to use 4G I need a 4G sim. But I already have one.

What device do you have? Doesn't it have 4G capacity? 

Your phone will connect to the strongest signal. There could also be a local issue. You can check for issues here:

Hi I have an iPhone 7 and my local signal is good for 4G. On the coverage website it says that my area has better signal with 4G than with 3G

It just says £20 data pack
