Hi

Bought this router from Amazon  and a simcard from Scancom with unlimited EE 5g data until 2025. We have set it all up but we are getting the message connected to a network but not to the internet? it's very frustrating as we are in a holiday static caravan for a few weeks and really need the internet. ( the router wasn't cheap !)

thank you for reading

Check the router's APN/Profile settings against EE APN Settings: Where to find them . If present use Authentication type: PAPAPN protocol: IPv4. Ignore anything to do with MMS.

Hi

Sorry if I'm sounding a bit dumb but where do i find the router's APN/PROFILE settings please

You'll have to explore for them. Show us the initial admin page of the router & I'll try & guide you from there. Just found a manual for it. It's Network > LTE Dial Up funnily.

Scancom is a Reseller / MVNO of All the UK Networks and have there own Take on how they package and sell Pre Paid Sims and Data Only Sims, I would suggest you contact Scancom directly as it maybe your Sim Card is not configured correctly or at least ask them if your Data Session Settings are correct for your Device in order to access the EE Network.
