Hello,
Ive had a smart 4g mobile broadband hub for around a year now and over the last 2 - 3 months ive been experiencing various things from not seeing the modem on my computer to connect to, same with mobile phone when checked and laptop. no wifi signal showing.
the modem also likes to reset itself like wiping settings and admin password out like a push reset button does. this has been going on for a few months now but getting to be a daily occurrence now and becoming tedious to have to go and unplug the router to replug it back in to get some sort of wifi signal to connect to modem.
Is anyone else having these issues or is it just me? i do have 2 other 4g mobile internets running fine no issues. one is in the old bt 4g modem from a few years back and a mini wifi travel modem. both of these have no issues at present only the white smart 4 g mobile router i have and all are from EE.
i just thought id ask here before i go pestering EE about it.
cheers for reading

Hi @Cheebo,
Welcome to the EE Community
I am sorry to hear you are having issues with your 4G router resetting constantly and some other issues. There are no settings that should be causing it to act that way, it does sound like it may be faulty. We would usually recommend trying a factory set but you mention it seems to be doing that on its own anyway.
If the device is faulty, you mention having it for around a year, did you buy it directly from ourselves? The EE mobile broadband devices do come with a 24 month warranty so as long as its not damaged you could look at getting it repaired.
You can check if your local store offers repairs or book in for the device to be sent to a repair centre on our page here Mobile Phone Repairs | EE 2-hour Repairs | EE

Hi Alex,
Thanks for the reply,
Yes i got it through EE and its contract ends Jan 2025, you could be right and it could be faulty, this has been ongoing since august but has got worse of recent. Ill have a look at that link now thanks.
edit: Ive booked an appointment for 2pm today at my local store. thanks again 🙂
