I have an issue with WiFi connection to Smart 4G Hub 2.
I have to do “forget this network” and add Smart 4G Hub 2 annd retype password to establish an wifi connection every time my iPad goes to sleep or turned on.
iPad is iPad Air 4th Generation and iOS is 17.5.1.
Do I need to some settings on iPad or on the hub?
TIA

Hello Lenna
I had to reset my iPad a few times for other reasons. As a result, it seems working ok.
Thanks for your help.

Is there a "Connect Auto" on the iPad's connection?

Hi @Big_H03,
Have you tried a network settings reset?
If not, go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings

Hi James
Thanks for your message on this as well.
As mentioned in the other topic, I reset my iPad (delete all data & etc).
Unfortunately, I still have the same issue.
A little more info.
- Even iPad goes into screen saver mode, the issue occurs. As a result, I have to do “Forget this network” & retype password to re-connect to internet on iPad.
- the connection to the Hub is ok. But internet connection gets lost even though internet works find on the other device.
Any other things I can try & see?
Thank you again for your help.

Hi @Big_H03
Thanks for coming back to us 🙂
Are you able to try another WiFi network and see if the iPad behaves the same? This would help us to know if this is the iPad or the router causing this to happen 🙂
Leanne.

Hello Leanna
Thanks for your message.
it occurs only with EE Smart 4G Hub 2. My iPad can connect to the Hub but no internet even though I can use internet with my mobile. Very strange.
iPad has no issue with BT hub, Now broadband hub, and WiFi at work.
I have reset my iPad (delete all option) but it did not do any good.
hope additional info helps you.
thank you for your help
