I’m trying to use the EE website on my iPad to buy a minutes add-on for my Nokia. I can log onto the EE account connected with my mobile on the website, and then do things like top up, which it allows me to do for my Nokia. It offers me the option to buy an add-on, but when I tried to use it, I get the error message the original poster shared error message which the original poster shared (“something is wrong with the service“).

@PhilippaEast : If you want to buy data for your Nokia & you want to do so via my link, you need to access my link from your Nokia, You can't do it from some other device that is not wanting the data. It has to be direct from the device wanting the data.

I’m still unable to use the website to buy a minute add-on for my Nokia, but at least I understand that the links you provided wouldn’t work for this request, even if they might fix a different problem, but I do appreciate your help and efforts!

In my case its slightly different, I am using the SIM as a data SIM in a 4G router. I'm connected to the router from an iPad using WiFi. The router is using the SIM card for its mobile data connection.
So I can reach the add-on.co.uk page, and click continue to reach the top up page. It appears as if the link doesnt respond, but after 30 seconds or so the page loads. I see a 'make a payment' page where it asks me to enter the number I wish to make the payment for. I enter the same number in both fields, but the form displays an error in red text that 'the field is required', even though there are no empty fields on the form. Clicking continue has no effect.

@Mikeelliottuk : Yes, I reach the 'make a payment' page. I enter my no. twice & confirm I'm not a robot. I Continue OK & reach a page asking me to confirm my no. I Continue & it goes into a loop back to the same page with extraordinary delays in between.

Hi @Mikeelliottuk
I'm sorry you're having trouble using out make a payment page. Have you tried again since you had this issue earlier? If so what browser are you using?
Thanks
Lesley
